River Clean Up with Surfers Against Sewage
300+ plastic bottles were part of the haul from today’s clean-up on the banks of the River Avon in Bristol UK. Great to meet up with the guys from Surfers Against Sewage, and make a bit of an impact on the continuous stream of single use plastics that make their out from the city, into the river and out to sea.
Clean-ups are just part of our overall strategy on reducing our environmental footprint. Our vision for a more sustainable bike industry is well underway, and by learning lessons from the surf industry and NGOs, our ambitious targets seem more achievable than ever.
